I feel the urge to talk beauty, make up and all things fabulous. So why not share my current beauty favourites. There have been a few products that I’ve been using recently and I’m absolutely loving them. Let’s get straight into it.

Dove Summer Revived Body Lotion with Self Tanner

This is a gradual tanner, which is just moisturiser with self tanner in it. It builds up a natural looking tan over continuous use.  I have used so many of these in the past, and this one by far stands out. The colour is natural, it’s not orange. Woo Hoo.It builds up to a beautiful sun-kissed colour 3-4 applications and lasts around a week before its faded off. I also love that it exfoliates off the skin so easily, there’s no harsh scrubbing and it doesn’t take days to remove it. It does still cling to dry areas so I would suggest using extra moisturiser on knees, ankles and elbows. Guess what? There is no ugly smell, it actually smells fruity and summery. You can get this from Boots or Superdrug.

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub

With the weather being so up and down, my lips started to get dry, flaky and just ugh. I didn’t even wear lipstick for a while…and that’s not me!! I suddenly remember this lip scrub saving me last time this happened. Sometimes lip balm doesn’t banish dry lips altogether but exfoliating and moisturising lips work a treat. This lip scrub is made with fresh ingredients, caster sugar, jojoba oil, sea salt, coconut oil. I would love if they did this in a stick form as the pots can get a bit messy and the scrub goes under my nails but I can live with that. They last forever too, they recommend to use with in 14 months so they are a really good buy. They have them in lots of scrummy flavours.

Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm and Botanics Facial Oil

I picked these up from Boots, after just walking past and noticing a ‘Buy 1 get 1 half price’ sign of course I stopped and had a look. I have never used this brand before but I liked the sleek simple packaging, basically I just wanted to try something. I’ve never used a cleansing balm before, so I was excited to try this. Its 97% organic with rose hip. It’s quite a thick formula so you only need to use a small amount each time. I loved the smell of this, it’s so fresh and reminds me of being outside. So, you massage the balm over face and neck, soak the cloth in hot water and use as a gentle press to draw out impurities. Remove the remaining balm and then finish by soaking cloth in cold water and press gently on face to close pores. My skin feels smooth, soft, hydrated and has a nice glow after using this. I like that it hasn’t dried out my skin as some cleansers I’ve used before have made my skin feel tight. I am excited to keep using this.

100% organic with rosehip nourishing facial oil.  I have wanted to try a facial oil for so long, but I was worried incase it would make my skin extra oily and that is not what I wanted. I did some research and turns out, oily skin still needs to be replenished with oils to keep your body from over producing oils. Sounds weird I know, I don’t understand either. I was expecting to be a shiny mess after applying this, but actually it was non greasy, soaked into the skin quickly and like the balm smelt amazing. It recommends to use morning and night, but I only use it at night as I don’t usually spend a lot of time with skin care in the morning. My skin definitely hasn’t produced extra oil since using this, it feels plump and radiant.  This is now a staple in my skin care routine, it claims to give you healthy radiant looking skin with continuous use which I can already see my skin improoving after only a few weeks!

Does anyone else love any of these products? I’d love to hear what your current beauty favourites are.
