I’m currently on a beach holiday, but the sun has decided to hide.. So I thought I’d tell you about an Elizabeth Arden Travel Set that I purchased on the plane! I’m glad I purchased this, and I’ve used the products more than I first thought I would whilst on holiday.
What did the set contain ?
- Eight Hour Cream – Lip Protectant Stick, Skin Protectant 30ml and Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment 75ml.
I’ve always wanted to try some of the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour range, and this little set appealed to me because it had 3 useful products in handy travel sizes, perfect to chuck in your beach bag! The packaging is classy and sophisticated. It looks and feels luxurious.
So what do the products do?
Lip Protectant Stick – this little gem has spf15, which is the obvious benefit. We want our lips to stay moisturised and hydrated whilst in the sun! There’s nothing worse than getting sore lips from sunburn, that turn chapped and dry. This lip protectant keeps your lips from drying out, and protects from sunburn. My lips have honestly never felt so hydrated. There’s no sticky residue either which is amazing. Its colourless, so you can pop this over or under your lipstick if you wanted too.
The Skin Protectant is my favourite product from the set. Why? Because it has so many benefits!
- It protects and hydrates skin for up to 8 hours
- Tames eyebrows
- It’s a lip balm
- Hydrates cracked and dry skin, especially on hands and feet
- Soothes sunburn
- Cuticle Cream
No wonder it’s an award winning product for Elizabeth Arden! I applied this to sun burn on my chest, it immediately felt soothed and hydrated. I’ve been putting it on my eye brows every day, as I’m not wearing any make up to sun bathe, this just shapes them and keeps them looking, well not a complete mess.
Intensive Moisturising Hand Cream – this definately moisturises really well, it would be ideal for anyone who has very dry hands. I have also been using this on my feet and knees, even though it’s for hands it still does a good job moisturising dry areas on my body! It instructs to apply liberally, but just one squeeze of the bottle is enough for the hands. You only need to use this once a day, it keeps my hands moisturised for over 8 hours.
These products do have a smell, which is really hard to describe. It doesn’t bother me but if you don’t like products that are fragranced – they may not be for you.
Is anyone else a fan of these products?
