As a make up addict, I am always excited when Mac launch a new collection. I didn’t manage to get my hands on everything I wanted due to the collection being sold out far too quickly, they need to get more stock in asap! But saying that, what I did get I love.
My go to make up look at the moment has been all about burnt orange, bronze and golds, so this little kit is pretty much made for me.
It comes in the mostly adorable box with a draw, making it easier to just store them away when you are not using them. The pigments, wow they are so strong, you only need the tiniest bit and they blend beautifully. Yes, these are mini pots but they are going to last a long time. All the shades compliment each other and look great worn together to create different looks, or gorgeous worn alone for a one colour look! They also last all day long, these do not budge, can’t complain at that!
It comes with 3 pigments and 1 glitter! It cost £26. You can shop the collection here.

Sugar Rush – the lightest shade, slightly peach. Works really well all over the eyelid as a base and in corners of the eyes. You can also use this as a highlighter.
Stardream – a metallic peachy bronzed nude. This is my favourite shade, it makes your eyes pop and works really well blended into eye sockets!
Handsome Prince – this is a warm bronze, I love this to create a smokey eye, I take it under my lower lash line too, this is especially nice for an evening look.
Reigning Riches – this is the glitter, it’s a copper shade which is so wearable. It is a bit of a fiddle to apply glitter because you can get a lot of fall down, so I suggest doing a little bit at a time, it applies nicely with a wet brush. You could use this for a full glitter eye, or in the crease or corners of the eye, or even create an eyeliner with it, the looks are endless. You can also dab a little on your lips to finish off if you want a party look!
It’s so festive, it’s perfect for Christmas parties. The glitter catches the light beautifully and looks stunning, I can’t say anything bad about it! I can’t wait to keep using it, you can create so many looks with this kit! I find applying these with a damp eyeshadow brush makes them extra intense.
There’s so much more I want from this collection. What have you tried and did you love it ?
