This year I have used Barry M more and more. It’s affordable and extremely good quality for drugstore make up. I have been pretty impressed with the products I have purchased. There a few products that I now can’t live without so I really want to share them with you all!

You can shop all the products here!  They also use the most beautiful model, Lucy Meck. She’s a successful woman and she represents the brand really well. Barry M was founded in 1982, and are famous for cruelty free, colourful, on trend affordable products!

Right let’s talk about the make up!

Glowmance Soft Focus Cream

This is so beautiful, it’s designed to brighten and illuminate skin – which is what it absolutely does. I like it alone all over the face or a pump or two mixed with foundation. This makes my skin look alive. It has jasmine extracts and vitamin E so it’s also good for the skin. It can be used as a primer, a subtle highlighter and even to refresh make up throughout the day. I use this on days that my skin is looking dull, flat and tired! Its only £5.99!!

Flawless Colour Correction Primer

This has become one of my favourite primers. My make up stays on so well when I use this. It helps foundation stop breaking up around my nose, forehead and eye brows which other primers have not been able to do! It’s also a colour correction primer, hence why it’s green! It helps to even out redness in the skin. I also love how soft and silky this makes my skin feel, it’s infused with cucumber and chamomile. It’s also only £5.99.

Satin Lipstick in 168 & 169

For starters, these only cost £4.99 each and are as good as some of my high-end lipsticks. They are a satin finish so they are very comfortable to wear. They contain shea butter and vitamin E so they are super moisturising too. There are 11 shades to choose from, I have 168 and 169. I purchased these shades because I’m obsessed with nude lipsticks. 168 provides a light brown nude which is perfect for the day time. 169 is a darker nude with pink tones, this colour is just so easy to wear.

Flawless Colour Correcting Kit

I wanted to try one of these for a while, after seeing a lot of brands launching them. I saw this one and just thought it’s so cute, that’s really the only reason I picked it up ha! It has 4 shades, each one designed for certain problem areas on the face. They are a cream formula so they blend into the skin so easily. I use them before I apply my foundation, I tend to need less foundation as the correcters even out skin and provide a bit of coverage. It’s actually really fun to use, because before you blend it all in your face is so colourful! It’s £5.99!

Green – use this for redness on t zone and cheeks

Purple – use on cheeks, chin, cheeks and forehead to brighten, neautralise yellow tones, and dullness.

Coral – for under eye circles and conceal visible veins.

Nude – a full coverage concealer.

Flawless Mist and Fix Setting Spray ‘Matte Finish’

I am a big fan of setting sprays, and to find one that is a matte finish – what a dream come true! They are usually dewy, which is nice if you have dry skin but not if you suffer from oil! It doesn’t dry my skin out either, it still feels hydrated but not shiny! I hold it roughly 10 inches from my face and spray all over, quite generously. I also spray it all over my brush or beauty blender before applying foundation. It’s £4.99.

  1. I have one barry m polish that my friend brought back for me from London and it’s one of my favs! I wish the brand was available in the US because it sounds like they have a lot of wonderful products. I absolutely love those two lipstick shades! They really are the perfect nude shades 🙂
